Education & Background
- Earned bachelor's degree in elementary education from Stephen F. Austin State University, 1997 in Nacogdoches, TX
- Earned master's degree in Reading Education from Appalachian State University, 2004 in Boone, NC
- Worked on EdD in Reading, Language & Literacy from Concordia University, Chicago, IL from 2014 - 2021. Maybe I'll produce a dissertation one day.
11 years teaching in elementary (3, 4, and 5)
14.5 yrs teaching freshmen at Winston-Salem State University
