Principal, Amy Hyatt

I am starting my thirty-second year in the Davidson County School System where I have served as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal.  I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1990.  I earned my Masters of School Administration degree from Appalachian State University.  Over the past twenty-five years, I taught third and fourth grades at Reeds Elementary and Midway Elementary.  I served as the Assistant Principal at Davis-Townsend Elementary for two years.  After leaving Davis-Townsend Elementary, I was named the principal of Friedberg Elementary where I served as principal for three years.  Before being named as the principal of NDMS, I served as the principal of Welcome Elementary for four years.  I am proud to be a product of the Davidson County School System, where the education of the individual student is a top priority.  I look forward to continuing my career as the principal of NDMS.  Go Black Knights!!!
