General Information

Information to Tryout/Participate at NDMS
 
  • Students must have an up-to-date physical. The physical must be on the NCHSAA approved form.  A physical is good for 395 days.
  • Students are encouraged to have insurance.  Insurance is required to play football.
  • Students are required to pass 70% of their classes. Students who fail 2 or more classes per  semester are ineligible to participate the next semester
  • Students who miss more than 8 days per semester are not eligible to participate the next semester.
  • Students must live in the North Davidson Middle School district.
  • Students must have a current G-W concussion paper on file (final forms)
  • Students playing softball, football and baseball must have an acknowledgement of risk of injury while wearing a helmet form on file (final forms)

  • Tryouts and practices are closed, unless the coach says otherwise.
  • Students ride the activity bus to and from the games.  Some teams allow ONLY the parent to sign the student out after a game.  That student would then be allowed to ride home with the parent from the game, again depending on the sport. Coaches will go over this information. 
  • All school fees must be taken care of in the office before a student is allowed to play in games
